Talabre Viejo

Then we will visit the old part of the village, located in a canyon, which is why Talabre Viejo was abandoned after repeated water rises. We will then stop at a beautiful viewpoint overlooking the old town of the canyon and in front of the impressive Lascar volcano, for a delicious snack.

We will continue towards the Lejía Lagoon, located at the foot of the Lascar, Pili and Corona volcanoes. We will enjoy a colorful landscape full of flamingos depending on the season.

A little further on, we will stop to discover the giant crater of an extinct volcano, the Cerro Overo.

Then we will go to the Salar de Aguas Calientes II to enjoy a spectacular view where we will also have the opportunity to observe flamingos. We will settle on the edge of the salt lake for lunch and enjoy the tranquility of the place before returning to San Pedro de Atacama.
