Laguna Lejia
We head for Talabre nuevo, passing the ruins of the first village of the same name, devastated by mudslides.
Once through the control gate, we head for the “Quebreda de Kezala”, home to numerous petroglyphs. The instructive walk lasts around 1 hour.
Now it’s time to tackle the track, which slopes away from the impressive Lascar and leads us to the majestic Lejia.
Once well positioned and sheltered from the wind, it’s time for lunch and a photo opportunity! Satiated and filled with wonders, we head for the high-altitude salar known as the “Salar de Aguas Calientes”, where a digestive stroll awaits you to meet the pink flamingos.
On the way back, we’ll stop off at Cerro Overo to admire its immense, breathtaking crater !
