Cejar and Tebenquiche lagoons
A surprising excursion into the San Pedro salar, with a first stop at the Cejar lagoon for a swim in water almost as salty as the Dead Sea (guaranteed to float!).
On to the “Eyes of the Salar” to discover the origins of these freshwater outcrops right in the middle of the immense expanse of salt.
We end the excursion at the Tebinquiche lagoon to observe the fauna, the evolution of life on earth, cyanobacteria, stromatolites and the beginnings of the ozone layer.
End the day with a comforting cocktail buffet at sunset.
