Tour itinerary

First, we will discover the town of Talabre. Our guide will tell you about the history and customs of the area while taking you to the viewpoint of the ghost town of Talabre Viejo.

Then we will explore the Lejia Lagoon, a huge expanse of water surrounded by the majestic Pili, Lascar and Corona volcanoes.

On the way, we will be able to admire the giant crater of an extinct volcano, Cerro Overo. We will continue towards the Salar de Aguas Calientes II, to discover this wonderful place, still unexplored.

Salt Flats

There, we will walk around the lagoon and have lunch at the edge of the salt flat with a spectacular view, while our guide will inform you about the local fauna and flora.

We will approach the Argentinean border and pass by the little known Salar de Laco.

We will explore the area further until we discover Laguna Tuyajto and the Piedras Rojas lookout point, with a panoramic view of the Aguas Calientes III and Talar salt flats.

Then, we will go to the Miscanti and Miñiques lagoons, where you will be able to observe varied birds and vicuñas in their habitat.

In the end, we will visit the Chaxa lagoon, famous for its numerous flamingos present all year round. There we will enjoy a delicious homemade Pisco Sour to finish in style.
